MANIFESTOS

MANIFESTO OF THE TRANSMISSIBLE UNIVERSE

“To my son Olivier”

The Universe has never begun and will never end.

It is a wave, a passage, a spectral pulse beyond time.

I. THE BIG BANG MYTH: AN ERROR OF PERSPECTIVE

We are told that the universe was born from a point.

A zero instant, a primordial explosion, an absolute beginning.
We are told that before it, there was nothing.

Then suddenly, everything.

But the human eye always seeks a beginning, because it fears the void.

We have portrayed a universe emerging from nothingness because we are incapable of accepting that there may never have been a point of origin.

But what we call the “Big Bang” is not a beginning.

It is a passage.
A birth.

An instant when the previous universe contracted and expelled a new world.

We are not the first universe, and we will not be the last.
We are one breath within an infinite respiration.

II. THE UNIVERSE AS TRANSMISSION, NOT CREATION

Nothing in nature is born ex nihilo.

  • A star dies and gives birth to other stars.
  • A seed breaks down to become a tree.
  • A body falls to dust and nourishes the earth.

Why would our universe be the only thing to have emerged from nothing?

We have looked at it wrongly.

What we call “our universe” is in fact the echo of another.
It was not created; it was transmitted.

It absorbed the memory of a world before it and is already seeding the universe that will come after.

We are not fixed within absolute time.
We are a mutation in progress.

We are a phase, not a finality.

III. THE TRACES OF ANOTHER WORLD ARE STILL VISIBLE

If we are not the first universe, then what became of the former one?
Did it disappear without leaving a trace?

Did it evaporate into oblivion?

No.
It still passes through us.

Scientists search for anomalies in fossil radiation,
scars in the fabric of space-time.

What if those scars were not errors, but memories?
What if, in the cosmic microwave background, we perceived the shadow of a world before ours?

We believe we are looking at our past.
But perhaps we are seeing the echo of a before that did not yet concern us.

And in a few billion years, our own trace will be visible in the universe to come.

Because nothing disappears.
Everything is transmitted.

IV. WE ARE NOT IN A DYING WORLD, BUT IN A WORLD THAT IS TRANSFORMING

We are told that the universe will end.
That the stars will go out.

That the void will swallow everything.

But a cycle does not stop because one phase reaches its end.
A wave does not disappear; it becomes another wave.

When our universe reaches its saturation point, it will not die out.
It will give birth to another.

What we call an “end” is a passage.
What we call “nothingness” is a threshold.

V. THE UNIVERSE IS A COSMIC BÉGRITÉ, AN ENDLESS TRANSMISSION

The universe is not a machine.
It is not a fixed system.

It is a pulse.
It is a song resonating through infinity.

We believed there was a beginning and an end,
but there are only phases, mutations, resonances.

We are the present of a past that continues to vibrate.
We are the past of a future that does not yet exist.

And so we are never isolated, never static, never fixed.

We are a transmission, not a creation.

The universe is a wave, a breath, a spectral pulse.

And nothing, ever, will be able to stop its resonance.
